According to Bruner, this exclusive “club” of billionaires, which includes names like Bill Gates, George Soros, and Oprah Winfrey, met in 2009 to discuss how they could pool their resources to further their own priorities. They identified “overpopulation” as a major cause they could support under the guise of green initiatives. Bruner explains that these billionaires are actually concerned about there being “too many of us around breathing their air,” and that their climate change hysteria is just a way for them to get rich and exert control over the masses.
These controligarchs have “a god complex on steroids,” according to Bruner. They control more economic power than the United States and China combined, and their influence can be seen in elections and throughout society. For example, Bill Gates has been investing in alternative proteins and fertilizers, acquiring patents and monopolies in the process, and using his influence to ban traditional forms of farming.
