Candace Owens is once again embroiled in a storm not of her own making but entirely of her own choosing. The latest story swirls around allegations of her taunting Brigitte Macron, claiming she was born a man, a claim both ridiculous and unfounded. These sorts of antics are not just dangerous; they risk sinking the conservative ship she’s supposed to be helping steer.
Owens has always been a magnet for controversy, yet this time she’s possibly stirred a legal behemoth. The Macrons’ lawsuit paints Owens as someone who flagrantly spins falsehoods for financial gain. That’s not just an accusation; it’s potentially a multi-million-dollar courtroom showdown. It’s the kind of behavior that makes liberals lick their chops—another chance to portray conservatives as reckless renegades.

Then there’s the backstory of her tenure at Turning Point USA and The Daily Wire. Now, these are organizations built on the backbone of free-thinking conservatism, and yet, both found her antics too much to handle. Her Hitler comment was stomach-churning, yet she managed to slink away and land another gig. Her subsequent dismissal might suggest that her brush-fire antics are even too hot for the hardened conservatives.
The problem isn’t that Owens has ruffled feathers—it’s that she’s shredding them. Every so-called scandalous act gives fodder to liberal sharks already circling conservatives, waiting to prove their points about supposed ‘hate speech’ and ‘intolerance.’ Radical rhetoric may get clicks and likes, but at what cost? A movement defined by baseless accusations can quickly come undone, leaving genuine conservatives without a credible voice.
If she goes down in flames courtesy of the Macrons, it will be her own doing. Is it time conservatives take stock of who they let represent their voices? Or should they cut ties with incendiary figures before they burn the whole house down? It might be worth pondering before the next media circus rolls into town.
