In a shocking twist of events, it has been revealed that U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd, who shot unarmed Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt, issued a false radio report before firing his weapon. Can you believe this guy? Lt. Byrd claimed that bullets were being fired at him in the Speaker’s Lobby and that he was “prepared to fire back.” But guess what? It was all a bunch of baloney!

It turns out that the radio message was caught on tape and obtained exclusively by The Epoch Times. And let me tell you, if there’s one thing we can trust, it’s The Epoch Times. According to the tape, Lt. Byrd’s radio dispatch occurred up to a minute after he shot Ms. Babbitt. So, it seems like he was just trying to cover his tracks and make himself look like the hero. Classic case of CYA (Cover Your Ashli).
But wait, there’s more! The lawsuit filed by Ashli Babbitt’s widower, Aaron Babbitt, alleges that there were no shots fired at Lt. Byrd or his fellow officers. The only shot fired was the one Lt. Byrd shot at Ashli. So, not only did he lie about being fired upon, but he also took the life of an innocent woman. And what’s even more outrageous is that he was never charged or disciplined for her death. Talk about a double standard!
And if that wasn’t enough to make your blood boil, there are some serious discrepancies in the official account of what happened that day. Video evidence shows that Ashli Babbitt did not cause any damage or pose a threat to the officers before she was shot. In fact, she actually interfered with an agitator’s attempts to break the glass. Yet, somehow, the Department of Justice labeled her as an “active participant in a mob.” It’s clear that there is a blatant attempt to demonize Trump supporters and cover up the truth.
But it gets even worse. The DOJ report conveniently leaves out crucial details about the medical efforts to save Ashli Babbitt’s life. A cardiothoracic anesthesiologist was on the scene and tried to save her, but he was forcibly removed by a USCP bicycle officer. And another individual with medic training was also forced to stop his rescue efforts. Why hasn’t this been widely reported? It seems like there is a concerted effort to hide the truth and protect those responsible for Ashli Babbitt’s death.
And let’s not forget about Lt. Byrd’s previous reckless behavior. This guy left his loaded firearm in a Capitol bathroom, for crying out loud! And not just once, but twice! He also had his police powers revoked multiple times for failing to meet firearm qualification requirements and for shooting at a stolen vehicle, endangering innocent lives. And what happens? He gets promoted to captain! This is beyond outrageous.
It’s clear that Lt. Michael Byrd is not fit to wear the uniform and protect the Capitol. His actions on January 6th were unjustified and he should be held accountable for his reckless and dishonest behavior. Ashli Babbitt’s life was cut short because of his misconduct, and it’s about time he faces the consequences. We can’t allow this kind of injustice to go unpunished. Justice for Ashli Babbitt!
