It must be a cold day in Havana when even Fidel Castro’s own flesh and blood admits that capitalism is the way forward for Cuba. That’s right — the grandson of the very man who plunged Cuba into decades of poverty and hopelessness is saying out loud what freedom-loving Americans have known all along: communism is a failed strategy. For decades, the left fawned over the so-called “revolution” in Cuba, praising its tyrants and romanticizing misery while Cubans risked their lives for a taste of liberty. It turns out that even Castro’s own family can’t stomach the results of their grandfather’s disastrous experiment.
And here’s the real jaw-dropper — the same grandson wants a deal with President Trump. Not with China, not with Russia, but with America’s most unapologetically pro-capitalist, America-first leader. The globalists and the liberal media must be gnashing their teeth at the thought. For years, Democrats preached that “engagement” with communists would bring change, yet here we are, and it’s the real pressure from strong American leadership, not empty Obama-era appeasement, that is forcing even communist royalty to imagine a future with free markets.

Let’s not forget why Cuba is standing on the brink. The United States, under Trump’s leadership, finally stopped playing nice with rogue regimes in our backyard. The so-called “Donroe Doctrine” — called dangerous by leftist pundits — did more in one year than decades of failed policy. After the downfall of Venezuela’s dictator, the pressure cooker turned up on the Cuban regime. As shortages mount and blackouts become routine, ordinary Cubans are demanding what the left thought impossible: a piece of the American dream. Apparently, socialism doesn’t keep the lights on or gas in the tank — imagine that.
When asked how his communist grandfather would feel about his capitalist leanings, Castro’s grandson (the blood heir of the most famous Marxist in modern history!) made it clear: Cubans want to keep their sovereignty, but they’re hungry for opportunity. Translation: People are tired of being poor and powerless while party bosses fill their pockets and blame America for their own failures. The liberal elite in America might still dream of socialist utopias from their safe neighborhoods, but the people living under the boot of actual socialism can’t afford those lies anymore.
One has to ask, if even the descendants of dictators are begging for capitalism and a hand from Trump, why are there still politicians in Washington, college professors, and Hollywood loudmouths selling socialism to the American people? How many more generations must suffer before the left owns up to their own hypocrisy? The facts are clear: strong American leadership puts communism on the run. Will liberals ever learn, or do they secretly wish they could control Americans the way Castro did? Maybe it’s time they finally got a lesson from the Cubans themselves.
