In a shocking turn of events, Catherine Herridge, one of the few respectable reporters left at CBS, was unceremoniously fired along with a whopping 20 other CBS reporters. The blood bath firing, orchestrated by Paramount Global, left a total of 800 people without jobs. It seems that the Washington Bureau, which covered national security and intelligence, took the hardest hit.

While CBS remains tight-lipped about the reasons behind the mass firing, The NY Post has some interesting insights. Sources suggested that Herridge “had clashed” with CBS News President Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews. Could it be that Herridge’s commitment to truth and integrity clashed with the liberal agenda of CBS? It wouldn’t be surprising.
Just before her untimely departure, Herridge boldly posted about new damaging news regarding Joe Biden. She revealed that the House Oversight Committee was demanding the transcript of the Hur interview with Biden and expressed concerns about Biden holding onto sensitive documents related to his family’s shady foreign business dealings. This kind of hard-hitting journalism is clearly not appreciated at CBS.
But Catherine Herridge is not just an exceptional reporter, she is also a hero for journalistic principles. She may soon face contempt of court charges for refusing to reveal her source for an investigative piece she wrote back in 2017 when she was still with Fox News. The fines she could potentially face amount to a staggering $5,000 a day! Thankfully, Fox News is stepping up and paying for her legal counsel. It’s refreshing to see a news organization supporting their reporters.
In addition to all of this, Herridge had previously reported extensively on the Biden family’s questionable business dealings. It seems that CBS couldn’t handle this level of hard-hitting truth. As the regular liberal media crumbles under the weight of their own bias, Herridge’s dismissal is another sign of their impending implosion. For those who push propaganda, this is not a lamentable situation. But for someone like Herridge, who is genuinely dedicated to doing her job, one can only hope that this setback doesn’t hinder her from continuing her pursuit of truth. Perhaps being free from network restrictions, like her fellow truth-teller Tucker Carlson, will allow her to shine even brighter. We eagerly await her next move and hope she finds a platform where she can continue speaking the truth.
