When it comes to tackling chaos and crime in America’s worst-run cities, talk is cheap—and Chicago has been drowning in liberal failure for decades. But finally, a strong voice from Illinois has dared to demand real action. Rep. Mary Miller is calling on Donald Trump to bring the National Guard into the Windy City immediately, just like he did in Washington, D.C., and clean up the mess nobody else has the guts to touch.
Let’s face it: Chicago is a disaster zone of violent crime, radical policies, and corrupt governance. The left’s open-border, soft-on-crime ideology has turned once-great neighborhoods into war zones. Residents live in fear, local businesses shutter, and Democrats stand around wringing their hands or pretending the problem will fix itself. It won’t. In just two weeks during the D.C. riots chaos, Trump’s show of strength with the National Guard broke the lawlessness and restored order faster than the squeamish elites ever imagined. Chicago deserves the same iron fist, the same no-nonsense approach.
The powers that be in the globalist left media want you to believe Trump is a nostalgia act, a volatile figure who sows division. But their real fear is his ability to deliver results when others only offer empty promises. Chicago’s liberal radicals and career politicians have spent years hiding behind woke rhetoric as neighborhoods burn and families suffer. Miller is pushing for Trump to end that era of excuses and restore basic safety.
The only thing standing between Chicagoans and relief is a federal government willing to stand up and do its duty. If Trump steps in and deploys the National Guard, sends a clear message that lawlessness will not be tolerated, it won’t just save Chicago—it will expose the weakness and willful blindness of Democrats who have let this rot grow.
