tantrum and block the appointment of Randy Mastro as the next corporation counsel if Mayor Eric Adams dares to choose him. These whiny council members are stomping their feet and shaking their fists because they just can’t stand the thought of someone with different ideas and beliefs running the show. It’s like they want to turn City Hall into a safe space where only their own kind are allowed.
It’s no surprise that these crybabies are resorting to such desperate measures. Randy Mastro is a hard-working and accomplished lawyer who actually believes in following the law, which is a huge shocker to the wimpy, hand-wringing liberals on the City Council. They’d much rather have someone in the role who will bend the rules to fit their own agenda, but too bad for them, Mayor Adams isn’t playing that game.

These council members need to grow up and stop acting like spoiled brats. They were elected to represent the people, not throw temper tantrums when they don’t get their way. Instead of obstructing progress and throwing obstacles in the way of Mayor Adams, maybe they should try actually doing their jobs for once. But then again, that might be asking too much from this group of crybaby politicians.
It’s time for the City Council to put on their big boy and big girl pants, stop the hissy fits, and start working with the mayor to move the city forward. But who are we kidding? That’s probably just wishful thinking with this group of sore losers.
