The documents at issue, attributed to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, reportedly showed Israeli movements and preparations and were circulated on a Telegram channel, instantly compromising operational security and allied trust. Publishing satellite-derived analyses and deployment indicators on the internet is not journalism; it is reckless endangerment of lives and strategic advantage.
Let there be no confusion about the stakes: leaking plans that were shared among our Five Eyes partners undermines crucial intelligence cooperation that keeps Americans and our allies safe. The indictment and the overseas arrest lay bare a rot in parts of the national security apparatus where access must be guarded like a nuclear code — whoever this leaker is, they should face the fullest measure of justice.
