CNN showed its true colors again when a liberal host made a disgusting comparison between illegal immigration and slavery. The network’s own panel exploded into chaos after Ana Navarro from The View tried to equate people who break our immigration laws with Black Americans who were brought here as slaves. Her comments were so offensive that even CNN’s own contributors couldn’t stay quiet.
Shermichael Singleton, an African-American CNN contributor, immediately called out Navarro’s outrageous statement. He made it crystal clear that there is no comparison between people who choose to break into our country illegally and Black people who were forced here against their will. Singleton showed real backbone by standing up to the liberal narrative that tries to twist history for political gain.
The whole mess started during a discussion about President Trump’s immigration policies and deportations. Leave it to the liberal media to turn a discussion about enforcing our laws into some twisted comparison with one of America’s darkest chapters. This is exactly the kind of race-baiting garbage that Americans are sick of hearing from the mainstream media.
What makes this even worse is that Navarro doubled down on her comments instead of apologizing. She insisted that people just misunderstood her, but everyone heard exactly what she said. The arrogance of these liberal talking heads is unbelievable.
CNN tried to cover for Navarro by suggesting the whole thing was just a misunderstanding. But there was no misunderstanding here. She said exactly what she meant, and it was completely out of line and historically ignorant.
The panel was discussing the deportation of illegal immigrants, which is exactly what Trump promised to do during his campaign. Americans voted for Trump because they want our immigration laws enforced, not because they want to hear liberal hosts make sick comparisons to slavery. This is why trust in the mainstream media is at an all-time low.
Scott Jennings, one of the few conservatives on CNN, tried to remind the panel that Trump won the election on this exact issue. But the liberals on the panel just kept trying to shut down any reasonable discussion about enforcing our nation’s laws. They would rather make offensive historical comparisons than admit Trump is right about immigration.
This incident shows exactly why Americans don’t trust CNN anymore. When their own contributors have to fact-check their liberal hosts on live television, you know the network has lost all credibility. The American people see right through this kind of propaganda, and that’s why Trump won in a landslide.
