The Colorado Republican Party is not taking any nonsense from the Colorado Supreme Court. They are fed up with their shenanigans and have taken their fight all the way to the big leagues – the US Supreme Court. The Colorado GOP is not going down without a fight, and they have enlisted the help of the American Center for Law and Justice to take on this battle royale.
The Colorado GOP is not happy campers about the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling that barred former President Donald Trump from appearing on the state’s 2024 primary ballot. They are shouting from the rooftops that the state has unjustly interfered with the party’s right to choose its own political candidates. How dare the state meddle in their election process! The Colorado GOP is arguing that the state has overstepped its boundaries and is stomping all over their First Amendment rights. This is a classic case of David vs. Goliath, with the Colorado GOP playing the role of the fearless underdog.
By filing an appeal, the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling is automatically stayed – keeping Trump on the ballot – until the US Supreme Court takes action on the case.
