Democrat Party’s ‘Mutant’ Agenda: Rob Schmitt Unpacks the Warped Ideology

Kamala Harris has made her grand return to the political stage following a rather lackluster performance in the last election, and it seems she is eager to remind Americans why they didn’t choose her in the first place. Her recent 16-minute speech had all the charm of a bloated balloon animal, filled with a mix of bewildering anecdotes and an alarming lack of self-awareness. One moment, in particular, has gone viral for all the wrong reasons: the curious tale of elephants at the San Diego Zoo. As the story goes, these elephants huddled together during an earthquake to protect their most vulnerable—a tale Harris invoked to illustrate her fight for the underprivileged. It’s as if she mistook an animal instinct for political strategy, leaving many scratching their heads in confusion.

In an attempt to connect with the American people, it seems Harris and her fellow Democrats have turned their focus on protecting the vulnerable, but one has to wonder who they’re talking about. Are they referring to innocent American citizens caught in the crossfire of violent crime? Or perhaps they mean the victims of transnational gangs and drug cartels? Unfortunately, it appears that many in the Democratic Party have completely forgotten that vulnerable individuals also include those who find themselves on the wrong side of the law, facing dangers in their communities. It’s a shame they only seem to show concern when there’s a chance to frame a story for political gain, brushing aside real tragedies that don’t fit their narrative.

Meanwhile, the internal chaos in the Democratic Party continues to bubble beneath the surface. With some members sounding alarm bells about Donald Trump’s mental fitness, they seem to be projecting their concerns onto the former president while conveniently forgetting last year’s debates over President Biden’s mental acuity. The contradictions are glaring, as New York Congressman Dan Goldman appears more concerned with attacking Trump than gaining any coherent political footing. It’s as if the party is racing to see who can more effectively out-weird the other, with their grasp on reality slipping further away.

Harris, determined to hold onto her narrative, has also taken a strong stance on immigration, even going so far as to emphasize the importance of due process for illegal immigrants. It’s an interesting approach considering many Americans have made their voices heard, demanding stricter immigration control. The Democrats seem determined to keep their narrative alive, even as the sentiments of their constituents are strongly in favor of addressing the immigration crisis head-on. They are, after all, tied to the notion of preserving their voting blocs, even at the expense of genuine public safety.

To top off the Democratic circus, another controversy has erupted involving Motion Mahdaoui, a figure associated with pro-Hamas demonstrations. His release has sparked further outrage, especially amidst evidence suggesting he harbors violent intentions. While hopes hang by a thread for Democrats to question the motives behind empowering such figures, their reticence to confront this reality speaks volumes. It seems hypocrisy runs rampant in the ranks, leading to a bewildered electorate that wonders just how much longer they can maintain this double standard. Ultimately, it leaves many scratching their heads as to what has become of the party that once claimed to prioritize American values over divisive ideologies.
