What an outrageous stance to cheer as if defending constitutional rights equates to opening the door for illegal activity. Van Hollen and his fellow left-wing travelers hurried to El Salvador, while ordinary Americans face the real-life consequences of illegal immigration right in their backyards. They might chant due process, but what’s really at stake is their penchant for siding with international figures over the safety and security of American citizens. Yet, they ignore the very real problems citizens face due to porous borders. Americans are left hanging in the wind, wondering when Washington will start protecting their interests instead of putting foreign criminals back on our soil.
The narrative spun by Van Hollen and his cronies is a classic bait-and-switch. The focus should be on Garcia’s criminal charges, not painting him as some misunderstood figure caught in an administrative crossfire. This transparent play by Democrats to appease their progressive base is nothing but hypocrisy. They champion justice and equality, yet they prioritize those who disrespect our laws and threaten our communities.
And here’s the kicker: why the obsession with bringing someone back to face charges when he’d been deported for gross violations already? It’s as if the desire to repudiate anything associated with Trump takes precedence over common sense.
