The Democrats’ latest attempt to ram through their radical “border security” legislation was foiled by Republicans, and now their top negotiator, Senator Chris Murphy, has let the cat out of the bag. It turns out the left’s priority isn’t the safety and security of American citizens – it’s all about coddling illegal immigrants!
In a shocking statement, Murphy confessed that the Democrats’ immigration strategy “has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country.” Hold up, Senator Murphy, since when did law-breaking foreigners become “undocumented Americans”? It’s clear that the left is more concerned about favoring illegal immigrants over hardworking American citizens!

But wait, it gets even worse. Murphy shamelessly admitted that the legislation torpedoed by Republicans was aimed at “rescuing undocumented Americans.” Let’s call a spade a spade here – the Democrats are blatantly trying to rescue illegal immigrants for the sole purpose of boosting their own political power. They’re not fooling anyone with their fake compassion and phony border push.
And if that wasn’t enough, the text of the border bill revealed that it would never close the border and would even use taxpayers’ hard-earned money to pay attorneys for illegal immigrants who are breaking the law. Can you believe it? The Democrats are more interested in helping lawbreakers than in protecting American citizens and enforcing the rule of law.
What’s even more outrageous is that the bill doesn’t even require the President to close the border when thousands of people are flooding across it every day. Instead, it funnels asylum claims to the ports of entry, ensuring that the border never really closes. It’s a disaster waiting to happen and yet another example of the Democrats prioritizing illegal immigrants over the safety and security of our own country.
So there you have it, folks. The Democrats’ so-called “border security” scheme is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to kowtow to illegal immigrants at the expense of American citizens. It’s time to put an end to their reckless agenda and stand up for the safety and security of our nation!
