The D.C. swamps just got a whole lot filthier—literally. Congress is finally poking its nose into the city’s outrageous sewage mess, after bureaucrats let our nation’s capital flow with filth. For years, the same leftist city leaders who lecture Americans about “environmental justice” couldn’t even keep raw sewage out of the heart of the capital. Talk about embarrassing.
The liberals running D.C. were asleep at the wheel as disaster crept in. Instead of rolling up their sleeves, they spent taxpayer money crafting repair contracts—yet those deals were quietly worked out before the city was flooded with toxic water. If they supposedly “fixed” the problem ahead of time, why did everything go so horribly wrong? The American people deserve answers, not more political double-speak.

But don’t count on these globalist elites to admit failure. They’re more interested in scoring points with eco-activists than actually doing their jobs. While they virtue signal about climate change and pay lip service to “sustainability,” neighborhoods in our capital city are stuck wading through sewage and broken promises.
Congress expanding its investigation is the least it can do after years of incompetence. Good luck getting any honest answers from the folks who created the mess. Accountability isn’t exactly the strong suit of D.C. politicians who think rules only apply to the little people—not to their plush offices and expensive lunch breaks.
This disaster proves one thing: Liberal leadership in Washington can’t even manage a sewage system—yet they think they’re qualified to run your healthcare, your schools, and your paycheck. If they can’t keep the water clean in their own backyard, why should America trust them with literally anything else?
