On a recent CNN program, a liberal commentator made a shocking comparison of immigration agents to a notorious historical group. This type of rhetoric isn’t just talk—it’s a dangerous trend that’s inciting violence against the brave men and women of ICE.
It’s not just about the words themselves, but about the real-world consequences they provoke. Recent reports have shown ICE officers under physical attack in places like San Francisco and Texas. Over the Fourth of July, officers were ambushed, a clear reflection of the increasingly hostile environment they face. Some suggest it’s time for leaders on the left to put the brakes on their demonization of ICE before things escalate further.
Yet, it seems that the calls for moderation are being ignored. Instead, proposals are circulating that could further endanger ICE officers, like forcing them to wear badges that make it easier for them to be targeted by those with violent intentions. They work tirelessly to remove dangerous elements such as human traffickers, drug cartels, and other violent criminals from our communities. They are on the front lines every day, keeping deadly substances like fentanyl off the streets and safeguarding American lives from both domestic and foreign threats. It’s high time that these unsung heroes receive the respect and gratitude they deserve, rather than being targets in a ruthless political game.
