Denver, Colorado is in quite the pickle, folks! The city is looking at cutting hours for some hardworking employees all because of the mess caused by the growing influx of migrants. Yup, you heard that right. The city’s budget is getting squeezed tighter than a lemon at a lemonade stand, all thanks to this migrant crisis. It’s like they’re saying, “Sorry, loyal employees! We gotta make room for more migrants, legal or not!”

And get this, Democratic Senator John Hickenlooper even suggested the wacky idea of hiring illegal immigrants to fill city jobs. Can you believe it? It’s like he thinks breaking the law is the way to go when things get tough. Well, I for one am not buying what he’s selling. We need to follow the rules, people!
Meanwhile, Denver Public Schools is welcoming non-citizens with open arms, giving them visas like they’re candy on Halloween. They’re even setting up events to help these folks stay in the country legally. Can you imagine? It’s like they’re rolling out the red carpet for anyone who just waltzes on in.
The city has already thrown tons of taxpayer money into this migrant mess, and now they’re talking about opening up a migrant shelter in a school building? Come on, Denver! We have homeless veterans and struggling families right here who could use that help. Let’s take care of our own before offering a helping hand to those who shouldn’t even be here in the first place!
It’s time for Denver to wake up and smell the roses. We can’t keep bending the rules and playing favorites. It’s not fair to the hardworking citizens who follow the law and do things the right way. Let’s put America first and sort out our own backyard before inviting everyone else to the party.
