Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida is once again the target of liberal critics who just can’t seem to mind their own business. This time, they’re going after him for his response to a question about whether he would support former President Trump if he were the Republican Party’s presidential nominee and a convicted criminal. Talk about a hypothetical scenario!

It’s important to note that this question wasn’t just directed at Governor DeSantis, but at all the candidates on the stage. So why single him out? Perhaps because the liberal media loves to nitpick and scrutinize every move a conservative makes. It’s no surprise that they’re trying to twist this into a “devastating” moment for DeSantis.

Ron DeSantis looking around before raising his hand will go down as the defining moment of his Presidential campaign. pic.twitter.com/ph3tw5e2r6

WOW – Ron had to check out the rest of the stage to decide whether or not to raise his hand.

But let’s examine the facts. First of all, DeSantis looked around before raising his hand. Is it really so shocking that he wanted to see how others were responding? It’s called being considerate and thoughtful, something Democrats could definitely learn from. And let’s not forget, several other candidates hesitated or didn’t raise their hands at all. Where’s the outrage over that?
Of course, the Trump campaign seized on this moment, calling it “pathetic.” And they’re absolutely right. It’s pathetic that liberals are trying to create drama and division within the Republican Party. They know that Governor DeSantis is a strong contender for the nomination, and they’ll stop at nothing to tear him down.
But here’s the thing. Governor DeSantis has a proven track record of putting the people first and standing up for conservative values. He’s a principled leader who won’t be swayed by media pressure or left-wing hysteria. So, whether or not he would support a convicted Trump is ultimately irrelevant. What matters is that he’s a dedicated conservative who will fight for what’s best for this country.
In the end, this so-called “defining moment” will only serve to strengthen Governor DeSantis’s support among conservatives. We’re not interested in playing the liberal media’s games or participating in their manufactured outrage. We’re focused on electing leaders who will defend our rights, uphold the Constitution, and keep America great. And Governor DeSantis fits that bill perfectly.
