Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stood up to President Biden’s latest push for transgender rights in schools. The Biden administration’s new Title IX rules would permit students to use the restroom that aligns with their chosen gender identity, rather than their biological sex. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona claimed the rules aim to create safe and inclusive environments for all students.
However, Governor DeSantis made it clear that Florida will not comply with these regulations. He asserted that allowing individuals to choose their own gender and participate in activities based on that choice goes against the rights of parents and the traditional values of the state. DeSantis firmly stated that Biden’s attempts to enforce these policies in Florida will not be tolerated.

Recent findings from a study in Great Britain recommended against providing gender-affirming care to individuals under the age of 18. The report emphasized the potential risks and lack of evidence supporting such treatments for young people experiencing gender dysphoria. This contradicts the narrative promoted by the transgender lobby, which often suggests a high suicide risk for transgender youth without immediate medical intervention.
The new Title IX rules could have far-reaching implications on school policies and personal interactions. Under these regulations, teachers and students would be required to use preferred pronouns and names of gender dysphoric children, risking federal funding if any “misgendering” incidents occur.
