Since then, copycat criminals have repeated this shameful act at multiple venues. This is not a harmless prank but a deliberate attack on women trying to do their jobs.
Two men have been arrested for this despicable behavior. Delbert Carver, 23, faces charges including disorderly conduct and criminal trespass in Georgia. Kaden Lopez, 18, was also arrested after allegedly hitting fans with a thrown sex toy in Phoenix. These arrests show that actions have consequences, even if social media makes people think otherwise.
WNBA star Sophie Cunningham has spoken out against these attacks. She warned that someone could get seriously hurt by flying objects. The player was nearly struck by one of these projectiles just days after voicing her concerns. This proves these are not random pranks but targeted harassment of specific athletes.
