Disney’s new Snow White movie is crashing hard. Critics are tearing it apart, and fans aren’t happy either. The film’s Rotten Tomatoes score is a rotten 43%, one of the worst ever for a Disney remake. People say it’s full of bad CGI and weird changes to the classic story. Even the actors aren’t safe from the backlash.
Rachel Zegler, who plays Snow White, keeps making things worse with her interviews. She called the original movie “outdated” and bragged about making Snow White a “strong leader.” But conservatives say she’s just being disrespectful to the classic tale. Her co-star Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen gets called “over-the-top” and “laughable” instead of scary.
The movie made big changes nobody asked for. Instead of seven dwarfs, we get “magical creatures” that look like cartoon rejects. Critics say the CGI is cheap and the characters have no soul. Parents are mad that Disney caved to complaints about the original dwarfs instead of keeping the story’s charm.
