DNC Pushes Ahead with Virtual Nomination to Secure Biden’s Spot

The Democratic National Circus Committee seems determined to drag Sleepy Joe Biden across the finish line, no matter how torturous the journey might be. They’ve announced plans to virtually nominate him ahead of their convention, even though the man can’t seem to find his footing these days.

Before Biden’s cringe-worthy performance on June 27, the plan was to make him the Democratic nominee through a virtual roll call, conveniently ahead of the convention. This move comes in the wake of pesky Ohio laws that would have kept Grandpa Joe’s name off the ballot if he wasn’t nominated by August 7. So, in classic Dem fashion, they found a way to bend the system.

A DNC mouthpiece claims they are still moving forward with the virtual roll call, and Biden’s handlers are on board too. Interestingly enough, the real state of Biden’s candidacy has become a hot topic among his own party members, most of whom are tiptoeing around his embarrassing debate performance like cats around a spilled milk bowl.

Although Ohio has been tweaking its laws to accommodate the Dems’ shenanigans, the DNC’s plan remains on shaky ground. The internal workings involve rules meetings and credentialing committees, looking to strap Biden’s name onto the party with duct tape and hope. With the earliest possible date falling on July 21 and the latest on August 7, they’re scrambling to avoid the sticky August 19-22 convention mess.

Most Democratic delegates seem to be sticking to Sleepy Joe like glue, despite the party’s lackluster primary that secured him a laughable 99% of delegates. But even as they tow the line, enthusiasm within the party is about as high as a snail’s leap. Biden’s insistence on staying put only deepens the party’s woes, sending off signals of desperation.

Polling among Georgia’s Democratic delegates shows a reluctant nod to Biden, but let’s be real—enthusiasm is far from brewing. Democratic strategist Tom Cochran flat-out admits that the party’s mood is in the dumps, urging for that elusive, magical Democratic candidate who isn’t ready for the old folks’ home.

The exact virtual nomination date remains as elusive as coherent speech at a Biden rally. Rumors of an epic convention brawl are making the rounds, with the potential for one heck of a political spectacle. If the Democrats really want to replace Sleepy Joe, they’d need to buckle up for that fight in Chicago, reminiscent of their chaotic 1968 convention.

Biden made a feeble attempt to quash the rebellion by sending a letter to Congress and babbling on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. But by midweek, even the likes of leftist darlings George Clooney and ex-Speaker Nancy Pelosi were throwing shade. Pelosi threw down the gauntlet on Morning Joe, suggesting Biden better make up his mind quick or the Dems might need to pull the plug.

In the end, the Democratic Party seems set for either a coronation or a calamity in Chicago. The rest of us will have the popcorn ready.
