John Brennan, the former CIA Director, is once again in the spotlight for his alleged deceit during the Russiagate scandal. But let’s not forget the bigger picture: Brennan has a troubling history of lying and dodging accountability. It appears he thinks he can skate through scandal after scandal with little more than a slap on the wrist. This is a glaring example of how the corrupt elites of the Obama administration have continually shielded their own from consequences while undermining the very integrity of our institutions.
The recent criminal referral from CIA Director John Ratcliffe to the FBI regarding Brennan’s potential false statements raises concerns. If there were ever a case for accountability, this surely is it. Brennan’s dishonesty isn’t new. Back in 2014, he denied spying on the Senate Intelligence Committee regarding a critical investigation into the CIA’s detention and interrogation practices. This wasn’t just a casual miscommunication; it was a blatant effort to conceal the truth. Admitting to any wrongdoing seems to be off the table when it comes to the left. They would rather double down on lies than face the heavy reality of their actions.
The fallout from his previous denials has been shockingly minimal. Even after the CIA’s own inspector general confirmed that CIA employees snooped on Senate computers, no real consequences followed. Brennan’s accountability board, which many hoped would bring justice, turned out to be nothing more than a rubber stamp, letting everyone involved walk free. Let’s be clear: this is a complete failure of oversight. The Obama White House didn’t just turn a blind eye—they actively defended Brennan, cementing the notion that the elite are above the law. Why does this pattern continue? Because the liberal establishment ensures their allies get the protection they need.

The left’s hypocrisy runs deep. They demand transparency and integrity from others while offering nothing but stonewalling and obfuscation for their own ranks.
What we’re witnessing is a stark failure of democracy and justice—one that perpetuates a dangerous cycle of deceit and impunity among the political elite. Will we continue allowing individuals like Brennan to play by their own rules while the rest of us are held to a different standard? The answer is clear: it is time to demand accountability for all, regardless of their position or political affiliation. The American people deserve better than this charade. When will the swamp start draining?
