Feminists Ditch Real Freedom for Makeup’s Illusion of Empowerment

Many feminists today refuse to give up their makeup, claiming it’s for themselves. But let’s be real. They’re fooling themselves. Makeup has always been about looking good for others. The beauty industry just wants your money, not your empowerment.

Feminists say they wear makeup for “the girlies.” That’s just an excuse. They’re really playing into the same old beauty standards. Makeup doesn’t make you free. It chains you to what society thinks is pretty.

The “clean girl” trend is proof. It pushes perfect hair and natural-looking makeup. But that look isn’t natural at all. It takes hours to achieve. This trend comes from old-fashioned values. It tells women to be tidy and modest.

Rich, thin women promote this look. They steal styles from other cultures and call it new. Then they act like it’s a choice. But it’s not real freedom. It’s just another box for women to fit into.

Traditional wives online love this look too. They push women back into the home. They say women belong in the kitchen. These videos make old ways seem fun and cute. But they erase the hard parts of history.

Makeup companies are mostly run by men. These men don’t care about women. They just want to sell more products. They tell women they need makeup to be worth something. It’s a big lie.

Real beauty comes from who you are, not what you put on your face. Women used to understand this. Now feminists have forgotten. They think a lipstick makes them powerful. It doesn’t.

True strength is being comfortable in your own skin. Women should reject the pressure to look perfect. That’s the real freedom. Not a makeup brush. Not a fancy cream. Just being you.
