Rep. Cory Mills, a Republican from Florida, has announced his plans to file articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden for his decision to delay the delivery of weapons to Israel. Mills compared Biden’s action to the impeachment of former President Donald Trump, suggesting that both involved withholding foreign aid for personal or political gain.
Mills accused Biden of pressuring Israel by pausing funding that had already been approved by the House and suggested a quid pro quo situation, echoing the accusations made against Trump during his first impeachment trial. He called Biden “Quid pro Joe” and referenced previous incidents involving Biden when he was vice president.
And moronic puppet Joe said it on CNN!

Biden’s decision drew backlash from other Republicans as well. Former Vice President Mike Pence warned of impeachment if Biden does not honor foreign aid commitments approved by Congress, referencing the impeachment of Trump in 2019. Sen. Tom Cotton also suggested that Biden should be impeached based on the precedent set during Trump’s impeachment. However, some Republicans, like Sen. Lindsey Graham, condemned Biden’s decision but stopped short of supporting impeachment.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed the paused weapons shipment and emphasized the need to protect civilians in the area where the weapons would be used. Some Republican senators, such as Sen. Susan Collins and Sen. Thom Tillis, expressed concern about the decision but questioned whether impeachment would be an appropriate response. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat, did not see a parallel between Biden’s pause of military aid to Israel and Trump’s withholding of aid to Ukraine.
While some politicians, like Sen. John Fetterman, joked about the potential of impeaching Biden, the situation remains contentious and divisive. The decision to delay the weapons shipment to Israel has sparked debate and criticism from both sides of the political spectrum.
