Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo, a 27-year-old illegal alien and so-called “asylum seeker,” demonstrated how not all immigrants are the model citizens Democrats keep touting. After recently filing for asylum, Hernandez-Moncayo took to more pressing matters… like attacking a woman in Volusia County.
Picture this: It’s 4 a.m., and while most rational people are either fast asleep or contemplating the sanctity of the early morning hours, this poor woman finds herself in a dire situation. Desperate to escape her attacker, she cleverly pretends to call in a pizza order while alerting law enforcement to her location. What a creative yet chilling testament to the predator she was dealing with—an illegal alien who hadn’t received the memo on American values like consent and safety.

As the police intervened, the woman was able to express her nightmare. Thank goodness for the heroes in blue, who refused to stand idly by while this would-be rapist carried out his heinous act.
The consequences for Hernandez-Moncayo are severe, reflecting the gravity of his actions. He now faces multiple charges, including attempted sexual battery and false imprisonment, and unsurprisingly, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has tossed a detainer on him. Because when illegal aliens start acting out in violent ways, it’s about time somebody takes a little responsibility and doesn’t just rely on sanctuary policies to keep them comfortable.
Beyond this shocking encounter, Volusia County’s experience showcases a wider, growing trend of explosive crime rates driven by illegal immigration. As statistics reveal, over 10 million illegals crossed into America during the Biden administration, and incidents like this are becoming alarmingly common.
