Last year, some Democrats were accused of using fraudulent methods to impact election results in the state of Florida. Instead of focusing on the main presidential race, they targeted other down-ballot races. In one instance, a Republican candidate named Rocky Rochford contested the U.S. House race against Democrat Kathy Castor in Florida’s Congressional Race 14. It was alleged that voter fraud, mainly through mail-in ballots, influenced the outcome of this race.
There were suspicions that similar fraudulent activities were happening across the country, affecting the results of various elections, including U.S. Senate seats, House seats, and local municipal seats. An investigation led by Peter Ticktin, a longtime associate of former President Trump, uncovered issues in the voter rolls, including the existence of duplicate voters known as “clones.” These digital clones were created using real people’s identities with minor alterations, allowing for the creation of many fake voters.

Ticktin’s team developed a scanning algorithm that could identify these clone voters in the voter rolls. They also discovered sophisticated encryption used in creating these clones, comparable to methods employed by the National Security Agency. It was suggested that such fraudulent activities could have impacted multiple elections, not just in Florida but across the country.
The investigation raised concerns about the integrity of the election process, specifically regarding vote-by-mail ballots. It was found that thousands of ballots lacking proper identification were issued and counted, potentially affecting election outcomes. The case brought to light the need for stricter measures to ensure the security and accuracy of elections, calling for action to clean up voter rolls and limit mail-in ballots to those with valid reasons for not voting in person.
The ongoing legal battle in Florida’s FL-14 race highlighted the vulnerabilities in the state’s election system and underscored the importance of safeguarding future elections. If fraud is proven in this case, it could have implications for election integrity nationwide. The outcome of this investigation could potentially lead to reforms to prevent similar fraudulent activities in future elections.
