Gaetz expressed serious concerns about potential foreign connections tied to the would-be assassin, especially considering recent warnings he received about a supposed Ukrainian assassination team operating within the U.S. Just days before the assassination attempt, this intelligence had been circulating, which makes the situation even more worrisome.
