Gavin Newsom’s Shocking Accusation: Is Trump Really to Blame for California’s Chaos

Gavin Newsom is playing the blame game again, and he’s kicking off his new Substack by pointing fingers at none other than Donald Trump. He didn’t waste any time in accusing the former president of trying to destroy democracy. That’s right, the same man who hammered through socialist policies and let California become a sanctuary state for illegal aliens is now the defender of democracy in his own fairy tale.

Newsom is crying over immigration raids, claiming they violate due process. What’s conveniently ignored are the hordes of illegal aliens in California who think our borders are just an imaginary line. This isn’t bigotry—this is about enforcing the law. Instead of focusing on criminals who actually threaten our safety, Newsom accuses the Trump administration of using “intimidation.” No, governor, it’s called upholding the law.

The response to these raids? Riots, looting, and the kind of “protests” that scare people at home and ruin businesses. Newsom even claims federal troops were “commandeered” to bring some order. But what’s his alternative? More chaos and a welcome mat for anyone who ignores our immigration laws? His so-called lawsuit against the Trump administration is just more political theatrics, a distraction from real issues that California faces—like homelessness and sky-high crime.

Newsom, in a dramatic flair, says people are scared to live in their own communities thanks to these troops. No word on the fear that comes from rampant lawlessness and a state government that panders to those with no respect for our nation’s laws. The question he should ask is why Californians feel unsafe under his leadership, not why they feel safer with law enforcement on the streets.

At the end of his tirade, Newsom parades his new media endeavors, claiming that he’s going to cut through what he calls “right-wing disinformation.” Perhaps he should start by cutting through his own delusions. His narrative won’t change the fact that conservatives are making their voices heard. It’s Newsom’s own policies that are tearing communities apart, not the efforts of those trying to protect citizens. Trump may no longer be in office, but Newsom can’t stop blaming him for his own failures. Isn’t it easier to blame a boogeyman than confront the real monster of liberal incompetence?
