Republican lawmakers are waving red flags and pointing directly at Vice President Kamala Harris, alleging she has taken part in a calculated effort to mask President Joe Biden’s alarming mental decline. He insists Harris should be held accountable for remaining silent while the country was misled about the president’s capabilities. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul shared his own observations, comparing Biden from a visit in early 2022 to a more recent encounter just last month. He noted a stark contrast, observing a progressive decline in Biden’s cognitive functions that should have sent alarm bells ringing in the White House. McCaul raised the question of whether Harris was complicit in protecting a president who increasingly resembles a confused senior rather than a strong leader. The implication is clear: how could she not have known?
Florida Representative Andy Ogles chimed in, echoing sentiments heard around the Republican camp, drawing a hilariously dark parallel to the movie “Weekend at Bernie’s.” Ogles described a recent conversation with Biden, claiming that the president struggled to keep up with even basic dialogue. Given these observations, there’s an unsettling implication—that Harris is propping up a version of Biden fit for Saturday Night Live rather than the Oval Office.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise added fuel to the fire by questioning how Harris could have so little awareness of Biden’s decline, given her closeness to him.
