Harris and Vance Wrangle Over VP Debate as Dems Delay Decision

The circus never ends in the Biden-Harris clown car. Weeks after a debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump rattled Biden’s shaky 2024 campaign, the vice presidential hopefuls are now hashing out the terms of their own face-off.

Vice President Kamala Harris and Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), who is slated to snatch the GOP vice presidential nomination at the Republican convention in Milwaukee this Wednesday, had a little chit-chat on the phone this past week. This comes after Trump officially announced Vance as his wingman. While their conversation was described as “cordial” by those in the know, it seems the two camps are still bickering over when to actually have their debate.

The Trump campaign’s senior adviser Brian Hughes laid it out perfectly. How can they possibly commit to a date when nobody knows which Democrat puppet Harris will pick to tag along? It could be the ever-goofy Gavin Newsom, the equally uninspiring JB Pritzker, or even Gretchen Whitmer, if she decides to humorously step in. Setting a debate date before their convention would be like putting the cart before the horse.

On the other side of the social media battlefield, Brian Fallon, Harris’s campaign spokesman, decided to throw a digital tantrum. He clumsily linked the GOP’s abortion stance to Vance’s supposed reluctance to debate Harris, all while parroting the Biden team’s tired talking points about reproductive rights. Typical smoke and mirrors from the left, using one subject to divert attention from their endless blunders.

As the Biden and Trump campaigns have already nailed down their presidential debate schedule – CNN on June 27 and ABC on September 10 – the drama now shifts focus to the VP hopefuls. CBS has suggested a vice presidential debate on either July 27, August 13, or August 14. Grab the popcorn, folks. This should be entertaining – if the Democrats can ever decide who their lucky loser will be.
