In a miraculous twist, Vice President Kamala Harris revealed she actually prayed for former President Donald Trump. This stunning revelation came after an assassination attempt on Trump, and believe it or not, she disclosed that she’s even had a meeting with Melania Trump since then. Harris dropped this unexpected bombshell during a campaign stop in Michigan while predictably condemning political violence, something that everyone and their dog would agree is a bad thing. However, what’s really striking is her newfound compassion for the man her party has vilified for years.
Tragedy also struck at the rally, with Corey Comperatore losing his life while heroically defending his family. Harris dramatically reminisced about how she and Doug, her husband, prayed for Trump’s wellbeing and immediately thought of Melania and the Trump family. This newfound piety would be a refreshing change if it weren’t coming off as a tad hypocritical from someone whose party has called for everything short of a witch trial for Trump.

A typical Biden administration virtue-signaling session followed, where Harris parroted the well-worn call for political unity. Shockingly, she opined that there should be unity in condemning political violence. Then, as always, she pivoted towards the sacred altar of robust debate—one wonders if that includes listening to conservative viewpoints without throwing a tantrum.
Of course, Harris couldn’t resist steering the conversation back to abortion, the left’s Holy Grail. She made it clear that this topic was precisely why she chose Michigan for her campaign pit stop, just to remind everyone which side of the fence she’s on—spoiler alert, it’s not the pro-life side.
Interestingly, Harris’s Michigan visit comes hot on the heels of Trump’s bold choice of Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate for the 2024 election. Harris sent Vance a congratulatory message to the diplomat, indicating she looks forward to a spirited debate. One can almost hear the popcorn popping in anticipation.
Finally, it seems the powers that be, i.e., the Obama-staffed White House, might be hedging their bets, seeing Harris as a backup plan should Biden’s duck-and-cover strategy finally wear thin. Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki touted Harris as the “clear alternative,” which, given her track record, should make 2024 another thrilling year for political theater.
