The Harvard Crimson’s editorial board once stood strong in defense of Claudine Gay amid a flurry of plagiarism allegations but not anymore! Two board members have stepped up to say enough is enough, and she should resign.

It all started when Claudine Gay fumbled her response to Hamas’ attacks in October. She sent a bunch of out-of-touch emails and even messed up her testimony before Congress. Yikes! But wait, there’s more – she’s been accused of plagiarizing academic papers too.
The rest of the editorial board is still sticking by her side, even after all these mess-ups. They think her plagiarism is no big deal and that she should stay put. Well, hold onto your hats, folks, because two board members are saying, “Sorry, not sorry, she’s gotta go!”
And here’s the real kicker – big-time Harvard alum Bill Ackman, the CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management, is airing the university’s dirty laundry. He’s saying Gay’s failures have cost Harvard billions in donations.
Now Harvard is facing a congressional investigation into not only the plagiarism but also allegations of antisemitism on campus.
And to add some salt to the wound, the House Committee on Education and the Workforce is threatening Harvard’s federal funding. They’re basically saying, “Shape up, Harvard, or else!” It’s like a big old showdown, and Harvard is caught right in the middle of it.
