In a recent interaction, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton let some choice words fly in response to Tucker Carlson’s exclusive interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Clinton didn’t hold back, calling Carlson a “useful idiot” for Russia on Wednesday. Oh boy, someone’s not happy with Tucker!

Clinton took a big swing at Carlson, claiming he’s been parroting Putin’s comments on Ukraine and even suggested that Russian media mocks Carlson as a “puppy dog” for the foreign leader. Ouch! She also made it known that she wasn’t at all taken aback by the interview, given Carlson’s habit of echoing Putin’s “pack of lies” about Ukraine. According to Clinton, Carlson is so far gone that she wouldn’t be surprised if he landed a deal with a Russian outlet. Yikes, that’s some spicy criticism right there!
Now, let’s take a step back and see where Tucker Carlson is coming from. Since parting ways with Fox last April, he’s been pretty vocal about opposing the United States’s support for Ukraine. Carlson has been ranting about how the U.S. is draining resources by supporting Ukraine and, come on, who doesn’t love a good rant?
In response, supporters of Ukraine have been rallying behind the country, trying to halt Russia’s influence and power in Europe. It’s like a game of tug-of-war, but instead of a rope, it’s about geopolitical power and, well, a lot more serious.
But wait, there’s more! Carlson defended his interview by claiming that most Americans are clueless about the ongoing events between the two former Soviet countries. He’s really out here saying that we’re all clueless and need to wake up to what’s happening in the world. Bold move, Tucker!
