In a shocking turn of events, the dismembered body found in a California dumpster has been confirmed to be that of Mei Li Haskell, wife of Samuel Haskell IV, the son of a Hollywood bigwig currently facing accusations of her murder and the disappearance of her parents. The medical examiner dated Mei Li’s death to November 8th, the very day a part of her body was discovered in a dumpster in Encino, just two days after she and her parents were last seen.

The cause of Mei Li’s tragic passing is still a subject under investigation, with the location listed as a parking lot. However, her parents, Gaoshan Li and Yanxiang Wang, both Chinese nationals, are still nowhere to be found. Samuel Haskell IV, aged 35, was taken into custody on the same day the remains were found, after hired laborers claimed he had them dispose of heavy trash bags they suspected contained body parts. Subsequently, he was slapped with three counts of murder, as the authorities linked the remains to the marital home shared by the couple and Mei Li’s parents.
To add to the drama, Haskell IV was purportedly caught on camera dumping Mei Li’s body in the dumpster. Then, during a second search of his residence, officials claimed to have unearthed damning evidence of a ghastly crime. Haskell IV’s father, Samuel Haskell III, a former big shot at the William Morris Agency, must be reeling from the scandal. Photos from previous events show Samuel Haskell III mingling with celebrities like Dolly Parton at Hollywood gatherings.
In a courthouse spectacle, Haskell IV, clad in a prison jumpsuit, accidentally bared his tattoo-covered torso while standing before a judge. It seems that his anti-suicide smock was no match for gravity, slipping down during the hearing. Despite changing his legal representation from Beverly Hills attorney Bob Schwartz to Joseph Weimoritz, Haskell IV hasn’t entered a plea and sought a postponement for his next court date, where he is facing the possibility of life in prison without parole if convicted on all three murder counts.
