A recent interim staff report from the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement has sent shockwaves through conservative circles. This explosive report unveils a staggering reality regarding President Biden and Vice President Harris’s handling of immigration—specifically, their cozy relationship with the terrorist watchlist. Since the dynamic duo stepped into office in 2021, the Department of Homeland Security has ingeniously brokered a Catch and Release scheme that just might make any reasonable citizen question their grip on reality.
The grim statistics presented by the subcommittee reveal that between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, the Biden-Harris administration has granted freedom to approximately 99 migrants who find themselves on the government’s terrorist watchlist. Yes, that’s right! These migrants—whose names are very likely to be found on lists indicating direct ties to terrorism—were welcomed with open arms and released into American towns. Meanwhile, hundreds more remain in government custody while the clock ticks on their imminent reminders of responsibility. Who needs federal oversight when you’ve got a wide-open border and a “come on in” mentality?
It seems the roster of countries represented in these migrants is less than comforting as well. Individuals coming from terror hotspots like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria (among others) have all found their way through the border, while Border Patrol has been pelted with record counts of illegal encounters. Instead of securing the nation, it appears Biden and Harris are more interested in revitalizing America’s “Welcome” mats, even for those with potentially sinister associations. Surely, someone in the administration must be humming “Kumbaya” while folding the fabric of national security into a paper airplane.
The situation quickly descends further into absurdity with reports of ISIS-linked Tajikistani migrants crossing into the U.S. and casually receiving their American residency cards courtesy of the “CBP One” app—a revolutionary little tool that serves as an express lane for terrorists. It’s hard to believe that a country founded on law and order has stooped to outright neglect of its borders while operating like a celebrity nightclub where bouncers are on break. If the intention is to be the most relaxed nation in world history, Biden and Harris have certainly succeeded.
To add insult to injury, federal immigration judges have apparently joined the chaos, allowing at least 27 watchlist migrants to secure bonds out of detention, and even granting asylum to multiple individuals identified as risks to national safety. One can only wonder if the judges received non-traditional training that mistakenly included “how to let the bad actors walk” along the syllabus. The case of Mohammad Kharwin serves as a chilling reminder; after being released not once but twice, Kharwin was only detained again when the public caught wind of his history as a member of a terrorist group.

The reality is already palpable: under the Biden-Harris regime, American communities are being instructed to embrace the million-plus illegal aliens entering the nation, including those with direct ties to terrorism. With 5.4 million illegal entries reported and a shocking increase in watchlisted individuals crossing the border compared to the Trump administration, it raises the question—where’s the accountability? The only thing left to conclude is that waving the white flag on immigration seems to be the new normal, and national security is left sitting in a corner, wondering where it went wrong.
