Every day, American patriots have a reason to be thankful that we aren’t grappling with Hillary Clinton’s choices on the Supreme Court. Just imagine, had her presidency come to fruition, this nation would be in far more dire straits. There’s a reason the left shudders when they think of their missed opportunity in 2016. Dodging Hillary meant preserving the dignity and authority of the Supreme Court, which today stands as a bulwark against liberal ideologues attempting to unravel the fabric of our great Republic.
Robert Bork was a man ahead of his time. Nearly three decades ago, he warned us about activist judges pushing liberal agendas. If he were alive today, he’d probably be watching recent events with a wry smile. President Trump’s success in placing reliable conservative justices on the Supreme Court is a legacy that continues to protect American values. While partisan lower court judges may try to disrupt Trump’s vision, the Supreme Court, free from the whims of leftist politics, has emerged as a reliable force in undoing their meddling.

News of the Supreme Court’s latest decision backing Trump’s tougher immigration controls is a perfect example. Despite the predictable cries from liberal justices about “constitutional risks” – cries that are as stale as they are misguided – the Court has paved the way for crucial law enforcement action. When leftist judges undermine the rule of law, it’s comforting to know the Supreme Court isn’t swayed by their rhetoric.
One must consider the alternate universe where a Clinton presidency filled our highest court with judges more interested in social experiments than justice. In such a world, the demise of the Republic would have accelerated with frightening speed. The American people managed to sidestep this disaster, and it’s a testament to the brilliance of Trump’s tenure that we did. Clinton and her liberal cronies would have planted the seeds of division far deeper than they are now, leaving a mess for any future Republican president to grapple with.
Hillary Clinton’s loss was a victory for America, and the Supreme Court’s current composition is a testament to that victory. Trump’s presidency saved this nation more than once, steering it away from the brink initially presented by Clinton and potentially worse to come by those like Kamala Harris. Will historians someday recognize the bullet we dodged in 2016, or will liberal bias continue to shade the truth? Only time will tell, but for now, constitutional sanity reigns, and that’s something we can all appreciate.
