Concerns about the federal government’s cozy relationship with the Biden family have been floating around like a well-worn meme for quite some time now. However, it seems the tide could be turning as insiders appear ready to throw the president and his family under the bus now that they no longer need his wavering star power to shine.
Recent court filings have unveiled some rather unsettling monetary transactions involving Hunter Biden, and news outlets like Breitbart are not shy about shedding light on this financial fiasco. Conservative columnist Wendell Husebø points out three key leaks that could spell trouble for the First Family. First up is Special Counsel David Weiss, who recently stated that Hunter pocketed over $3 million from Romanian associate Gabriel Popoviciu while simultaneously allegedly working to influence U.S. government agencies. It’s hard to believe that someone could rake in that much cash without providing a smidgen of actual work in return—after all, that’s what those business schools teach one, isn’t it?

Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Hunter’s financial dealings don’t stop there; Weiss also mentioned the younger Biden received hefty sums from CEFC China Energy Co. and that notorious Ukrainian powerhouse, Burisma. Apparently, Hunter was padding his wallet while his father was busy playing the good diplomat, smartly navigating the muddy waters of U.S.-Ukraine relations. It’s not a leap to wonder if there’s more than meets the eye here—like FARA violations—although Hunter seems to be extra lucky so far, as he has yet to face any charges.
The leaks don’t solely target Hunter; they implicate the president too. Just recently, the Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed they had unearthed 117 pages of transcripts from discussions between Biden and his ghostwriter. These discussions expose Joe Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory,” a fact the DOJ previously claimed was all but impossible to confirm when they stated the verbatim transcripts could not be found. Cue the whistle sound from the intellectual honesty department!
It’s nearly comical how government officials seem to operate in circles that could make a family circus appear organized. After years of trying to protect the Biden family from the sharp eye of scrutiny, it appears there might be some governmental players eager to cash in on the opportunity to distance themselves. Maybe they finally realized that a sinking ship sometimes means frantically paddling lifeboats to safety while shouting, “Not me!”
As leaks proliferate, it raises a lingering question: Could the Biden family’s time in the sun be fading, or is this just another drama in a long-range soap opera that has kept Americans glued to the headlines? Given the pattern of far-left distractions and the apparent lack of accountability, it seems the only thing predictable about this administration is its unpredictability.
