It’s a heartbreaking reminder of the consequences of policies that appear to prioritize political correctness over public safety.
The Department of Justice, under the leadership of President Trump, has made it clear that it isn’t going to let this issue slide. More lawsuits are on the horizon, targeting these sanctuary jurisdictions. The idea here is to curb the prevalence of criminal aliens who feel emboldened to roam American neighborhoods freely. Their mission is not just a political talking point; it’s a necessity for the safety and well-being of communities across the country.
Unfortunately, the battle isn’t just against criminals. ICE officers are reportedly facing an unprecedented level of hostility, with assaults against them up by an alarming 830%. The rhetoric from certain political quarters only fans the flames of this anti-law enforcement sentiment. Instead of support, these brave men and women often find themselves vilified, a far cry from the gratitude they deserve for risking their lives every day.
The question now is, how much longer can this charade of sanctuary cities continue? If the latest incidents are any indication, it seems the tipping point may be near.
