It’s hard to believe that after three and a half years of unrelenting chaos under Biden, a head-scratching incident involving illegal migrants attempting to breach the hallowed grounds of Marine Corps Base Quantico managed to slip under the radar. The establishment media, in typical fashion, has either ignored this glaring threat to national security or treated it like a long-buried family secret. No matter that our borders look more inviting than a 24-hour diner on a road trip, the left seems committed to leaving Americans blissfully unaware of just how precarious the situation is.
The culprits in this bizarre saga are two Jordanians: Hasan Yousef Hamdan and Mohammad Khair Dabous. These fine gentlemen certainly played fast and loose with the immigration laws by illegally crossing from Mexico to the U.S. Only a month later. They decided to make a right turn for Quantico as if they were heading for a picnic rather than a highly secured military base. Those who favor a multicultural utopia can sleep soundly, though, since the duo has not faced the harsh repercussions one might expect. After all, if you’re a progressive, what’s a little national security breach among friends?

Reportedly, these two international adventurers were “charged with trying to breach” Quantico, yet they were released from ICE detention as if they simply forgot to return their library books. Hefty bail payments may have smoothed their exits, but it’s a wonder how politicians with their private security details can carry on with business as usual. At the same time, regular citizens are left in the cold about the whereabouts of these two characters. While they could be a skip and a hop from your own home (yeah, that’s a comforting thought), our leaders casually go about their lives as if everything is just fine in their little bubble.
The details of this escapade raise more eyebrows than a botched Botox job. Hamdan had entered the country illegally just a month prior, while Dabous had overstayed his visa. So naturally, one would expect them to be treated as pressing matters for immediate deportation. Yet somehow, they waltzed out of custody, leaving everyone twiddling their thumbs over what the actual intent was. One would assume that such a breach would elicit swift action and answers, but the silence is deafening. What’s the government hiding? Or better yet, do they even care?
The two touted a very official cover story involving a delivery for Amazon, attempting to breeze past security as if they were running late for a dinner party. Unfortunately for them, the sharp-eyed military police weren’t fooled and redirected them to a holding area for some good old-fashioned vetting. It’s amusing to think that they thought trying to deliver a package to a military base would go off without a hitch. Perhaps they were just looking for a quick tour of the base or maybe testing how far one could get with a bit of clever deceit? If sidestepping border security isn’t alarming enough, know that our military’s attention seems diverted by more pressing matters.
In a landscape dominated by leftist priorities, national security is treated like a bump in the road rather than a genuine concern. Instead of addressing real threats, officials appear more preoccupied with making the military an extended workshop on critical race theory. With a porous southern border and intruders daring to trespass on a military installation, the catastrophically poor state of affairs is obvious. But don’t expect the liberal elite to acknowledge any wrongdoing; for them, chaos is just another Tuesday in leftist America.
