Imam Ayman Soliman, the so-called chaplain once patrolling the halls of Cincinnati Children’s, finds himself embroiled in a scandal that reveals much about liberal media dishonesty and how they’re dancing around inconvenient truths. Here we have a man, blessed by America’s benevolence with asylum after fleeing Egypt, now wrapped in controversy, flagged on the FBI terror watchlist. Yet somehow, this doesn’t make it to the front pages with the clarity we deserve. Instead of holding those responsible accountable, media outlets like to play hide and seek, favoring certain narratives over facts.
Let’s cut to the chase. The man isn’t just your run-of-the-mill immigrant. His asylum status was revoked under the so-called leadership of Joe Biden. That’s right, Biden’s administration pulled the plug, but when caught in a whirlwind of accountability, ready to toss the blame like it’s some political hot potato, Democrats want to conjure the ghost of Trump. It’s the same old playbook. Bad Orange Man did it! They don’t want their voters seeing Biden’s administration for what it is — a weak-kneed bureaucracy unable to make tough decisions without a teleprompter.

And here’s where the stench of hypocrisy grows unbearable. The man screams injustice, claiming mismatched fingerprints while simultaneously suing federal authorities left and right. Meanwhile, CAIR takes the stage, theatrically accusing Trump of targeting Muslims. They ignore that the fingerprints of incompetence and bias smear the very administration they’ve worshipped like a sacred cow. Yet, does anyone at the helm of liberal bias media double-check these claims? Nope. They’re too busy concocting their reality.
What’s downright puzzling is how Soliman has a family in Egypt yet fears persecution. Sure, he may dread returning, but what about the folks living under the same sun he fled? The left wants to paint him as the victim in this drama without a second thought for those stuck in Egypt amidst the sandstorm of danger he claims to have dodged. Why aren’t we questioning what message that sends to American citizens waiting in line dutifully? Why should we accept career asylum seekers biting the hands that save them?
The narrative liberals spin often unravels when faced with facts they’d rather dismiss. Trust the public to see through the overplayed condemnation of a former administration. Why not hold Joe Biden’s feet to the fire for granting ICE the authority it exercises now? With every uproar over accountability turned inward or blame cast backward, the trappings of failed liberal leadership become harder to ignore. So, let’s ask a looming question — how many more Illusions will they sell before truth prevails?
