The great state of Indiana is taking a stand against sneaky foreign influences with a new law that says, “No thank you, China!” House Bill 1120 is the name, and it’s making sure that no city, town, or county in Indiana gets cozy with any of those foreign adversaries like China. And let’s be real, who needs that kind of trouble? Not Indiana, that’s for sure!

The Daily Caller News Foundation did some snooping around and found out that Chinese-linked nonprofits have been playing footsie with Indiana through these so-called “sister city” agreements. But fear not, Hoosiers! Republican Rep. Jim Banks is on the scene, sounding the alarm about the Chinese Communist Party’s sneaky tactics. He’s making sure Indiana stays free from any unwanted Communist Party influences!
Now, some folks might say, “Oh, those sister city agreements are just harmless cultural exchanges.” But not Mitch Gore, the Indiana State Rep. who’s not falling for those sweet talkin’ foreign adversaries. He knows that these agreements can be like giving a fox the keys to the henhouse. Mitch is one smart cookie, keeping a watchful eye on those agreements that could be used to sway American policymakers.
So, let’s raise a glass to Indiana for standing tall and saying, “Not today, China!” We don’t need any foreign adversaries worming their way into our backyard. House Bill 1120 is like a big ol’ “Keep Out” sign, and Indiana is showing that it’s not afraid to protect itself from those who mean us harm.
