James Comey’s latest stunt shows just how far gone the deep-state swamp really is. The former FBI chief, fired for incompetence and bias, thought it was a bright idea to post an Instagram photo featuring the cryptic message “86 47.” For those unfamiliar, “86” crudely means “get rid of” or “eliminate” in certain circles. And the number “47” has been linked to President Trump. Is anyone really surprised that Comey’s middle-school level code sparked accusations of a veiled threat? Of course he had to delete it before fainting from the backlash.
It’s frankly disturbing that a man who once led the FBI — an institution charged with protecting the president — would casually toss out what many saw as a suggestive call to violence against the Commander-in-Chief. Yet, this is the spoiled product of America’s political swamp: a bitter bureaucrat who, since being canned by Trump, has turned into a partisan mouthpiece for the Left. This isn’t innocent or accidental; it’s deliberate intimidation hiding behind vague numbers, an act that drips with contempt for the office of the presidency and the rule of law.

The real kicker? The FBI itself is now involved, with the current director revealing they are referring the matter to the Secret Service, the agency responsible for the president’s safety. Should we be reassuring that they’re “investigating,” or alarmed that such a “former” top official feels empowered enough to post these half-covert threats? Meanwhile, leading conservatives like Senator Marsha Blackburn demand answers — because this comes hot on the heels of actual assassination attempts against President Trump. The Left’s violent undercurrent, masked by woke doublespeak about “justice” and “resistance,” is glaring for all to see.
Comey’s history only makes this more repugnant. Fired from the FBI for gross mismanagement and bias, he’s spent years openly working against Trump, even endorsing Kamala Harris — of all people — in a past election. Here is a man who openly detests the very American ideals he once claimed to uphold, willing to fan the flames of political hatred for the benefit of globalist, anti-American interests that hate Trump’s America First agenda. This Instagram blunder isn’t a mistake; it’s a glimpse into the unhinged animosity and desperation of the radical Left, showing that Comey and his ilk care more about taking down Trump by any means necessary than about truth or decency.
At what point do we say enough is enough? How many times will Democrats and their deep-state allies hide behind clever wordplay, obscure references, and social-media smokescreens while plotting against the man who fights for this country? If this is the best the Left can offer, maybe they’ve finally lost their minds — or their grip on reality. Whatever the case, one thing is crystal clear: James Comey’s real message was never about “opposing violence.” It was a wink, a nod, and a threat. And America should not look away.
