Senator JD Vance has once again showcased why he’s the go-to guy for conservatives when it comes to dismantling liberal narratives on platforms like CNN. During a recent face-off with host Dana Bash, Vance sidestepped her attempts to hammer him over ridiculous accusations about Haitian migrants supposedly chopping up pets. It’s a classic case where the liberal media fails to grasp the absurdity of their own claims, and Vance was more than willing to demonstrate that.
The latest attempt to drag Donald Trump through the mud comes from The Atlantic, which has resurrected yet another flimsy narrative that alleges Trump fondly spoke of Adolf Hitler while dismissing the tragic death of Army soldier Vanessa Guillen back in 2020. This so-called “reporting” is nothing short of a desperate grasp for attention as the publication tries to cling to relevancy in a post-Trump world.

In what appears to be a feeble attempt to lend credence to the allegations, the Guillen family and their attorney have stated that they were misled by The Atlantic’s claims. Even John Kelly, Trump’s former chief of staff, couldn’t quite remember Trump saying anything that would warrant such outrage. One has to wonder why Kelly didn’t raise these concerns when he was working closely with Trump, leading to speculation that he might’ve been sitting on this explosive information for purposes of political convenience.
What truly raises eyebrows is how the mainstream media just keeps spinning its wheels with these hit pieces. While Vance was on air, Jake Tapper managed to get a bit emotional while trying to corner the senator. Vance, however, turned the tables with ease, questioning the integrity of CNN as a news organization. It’s as if he was reminding Tapper that CNN’s credibility vanished into thin air during the whole Russian collusion debacle, leaving them scrambling for anything that would stick to Trump.
The liberal media’s incessant need to create hoaxes and divisive tales is partly why figures like Trump elicit such ire from political elites. He doesn’t just play their game; he rewrites the rulebook, much to the chagrin of leftists everywhere. As Election Day approaches, it remains to be seen whether their attempts at scandal will have any real effect. The circus may be entertaining, but the reality is that seasoned Republicans like Vance are prepared to hold their ground against any and all liberal theatrics.
