The beloved TV funnyman Jon Stewart has made a fiery reappearance on The Daily Show, and boy, did he stir up quite the controversy among left-leaning viewers! Stewart didn’t waste any time before he started poking fun at President Biden’s mental acuity or lack thereof, and let’s just say the liberals didn’t find it as comical as Stewart did.

Stewart wasted no time diving into the deep end, cheerfully pointing out “the big news” about the supposedly damning Special Counsel report on President Biden’s classified information handling. According to Stewart, the report brought up some serious concerns about Biden’s “diminished faculties and faulty memory.” He couldn’t help but razzle Biden for his apparent inability to recall basic facts during his interview with the Special Counsel’s office, calling it a real “brutal” display of forgetfulness.
But that’s not all! Stewart then took a jab at former President Trump, rolling a collection of clips showing Trump claiming to have a case of sudden amnesia. He even joked that “being deposed” could possibly be an early sign of dementia, a zinger that surely raised a few eyebrows among those who aren’t fans of Target’s favorite spray-tanned public figure.
After giving Trump a light roast, Stewart circled back to President Biden, poking fun at his press conference blunders and even ridiculing the president’s gaffe where he seemingly confused the geography by mixing up Mexico and Gaza. Oh, Jon, you sly dog, you!
Of course, like a good ol’ sensationalist, Stewart didn’t stop there. He had to throw in a jab at the Biden-Harris campaign for hopping onto the TikTok train and appearing “older” in the process. He definitely didn’t hold back when pointing out every stumble and fumble made by the current president.
Now, here’s where the plot thickens! The folks who expected Stewart to hoot and holler at Trump while giving Biden a pat on the back were not amused by his comedic critique of the president. Left-leaning viewers felt truly let down by Stewart’s shtick and took to social media to express their discontent. Many expressed their disappointment and disapproval, claiming that Stewart’s material was just “lazy humor” and “missed the point.” Some even likened Stewart’s return to a swing and a miss, while others simply stated that “nothing is funny about any of this.”
A slew of disgruntled Daily Show fans voiced their aggravation with Stewart’s bold jabs at Biden and lamented how he missed the mark by not sticking to the tired, old formula of poking fun only at the Republicans. Seems like some people just can’t take a joke when it’s aimed at their own team!
Well, folks, it looks like Stewart’s return to The Daily Show has certainly ruffled some feathers on the left. But hey, controversy sells, right? And Jon Stewart certainly knows how to dish it out! Who needs The Bachelor for a good dose of drama when you’ve got Jon Stewart on the prowl?
