The live feed from the Associated Press captured the disrespectful dialogue, as one of the journalists lamented about the difficulty of obtaining a clear shot at the former president. The other journalist callously chimed in with a disturbing suggestion that they would have a “good shot” if Trump was driving, even going as far as to jest about a hypothetical open-top car scenario similar to the one in which President John F. Kennedy was tragically assassinated in 1963.
The conversation turned even darker as they callously joked about how someone might encourage Trump to ride in a convertible, akin to the ill-fated advice given to JFK.
