It seems that even those within the party are starting to recognize the reality: an inept leader can sink the ship faster than any opposing candidate.
One prominent donor, John Morgan, has made the surprising decision to cut financial ties with the Democrats after witnessing the utter chaos that Harris’ team brought to the 2020 race. Morgan has a particular bone to pick with the strategists behind Harris’ campaign, suggesting that even young Barron Trump came up with better ideas. This revelation is particularly amusing considering that the Trump name often elicits either adoration or disgust—mostly on the left. Apparently, Barron’s suggestions for his dad, like getting on more popular podcasts, hold more weight than Harris’ team could muster despite their hefty price tag.
Morgan’s critique doesn’t stop there. He highlighted a glaring gap in Harris’s media strategy compared to her Republican counterpart, Donald Trump. While Harris made attempts at podcast appearances, none of them garnered the reach or impact of Trump’s episode on The Joe Rogan Experience, which racked up an astounding 50 million views in a fraction of the time. In comparison, Harris managed to scrape together below a million views on her most successful podcast appearance. The numbers tell a story—a story of missed opportunities and poor decision-making.

The flawed strategy of her campaign team has left Harris tied to an outdated legacy of failed liberal agendas. Morgan pointed out that her attempts to emulate Barack Obama just made her seem desperate and out of touch. Instead of carving out her own identity, Harris seems intent on shadowing past leaders while failing to adapt to modern sensibilities. Her desperation for relevance has backfired, leaving her tethered to Joe Biden—definitely not the winning ticket her supporters had hoped would rise against Trump.
In the wake of Harris’ poorly executed campaign and her questionable alliances, it’s hard to see a future where she leads the Democratic Party again. Between the findings of lackluster campaign strategies and the weight of her associations dragging her down, it seems she may have become the poster child for how not to run for office. If only Kamala Harris had been willing to listen to the advice of Barron Trump rather than bowing to the traditional wings of her party, she might have had a shot at keeping the Democrats afloat amidst a sea of Republican vigor. But alas, hindsight is always 20/20.
