Kamala Harris took to the airwaves in a recent interview with Al Sharpton on MSNBC, a pairing that could have only been orchestrated in a lab to produce maximum cringe. Known more for preaching to the choir than for engaging in hard-hitting journalism, Sharpton likely provided the softest of cushions on which Harris could land her “thoughts.” Giving Kamala a platform like that is basically the political equivalent of letting a toddler loose in a candy store with no rules—everything sugary, and nothing remotely responsible.
Democrats are now staring down a men’s voter crisis of Titanic proportions, and Harris’s attempt to shore things up seems destined for failure, akin to rearranging deck chairs while the ship sinks. With Election Day just weeks away, it’s evident that Democrats are scrambling to avoid a massive electoral disaster. In a moment of questionable wisdom—or maybe sheer desperation—Harris resorted to calling out men who aren’t driving the “Kamala Train,” insinuating that a lack of support for her translates to direct misogyny. So, if Joe Sixpack decides to vote Republican rather than back her, congratulations: he’s now a misogynist! Good luck rallying those voters, Kamala.
Harris’ polling advantage with women is the exact same as Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden’s…. All this talk of women moving to the left has little to no actual evidence.
Trump is winning men at the highest rate for any Republican since the 1980s. https://t.co/ZEFjSdertN

Polling shows Harris is enjoying the same support from women as two of her predecessors, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. This is hardly the Democratic dream scenario they’ve been spruiking about women flocking to the left. Meanwhile, Trump is sweeping in men’s votes like a champion quarterback on a winning streak—record levels that haven’t been seen since the 1980s. Harris can throw around claims of misogyny all she wants, but the numbers reveal a much different reality.
While she’s busy treading shallow waters regarding the issues, Harris’s grand plan for the chaos in Gaza involves pointing to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, a man with the political instincts of a deer caught in headlights. Instead of leading the charge for a principled solution, she’s set him up for another round of “let’s pretend we’re doing something” while nothing truly effective gets done. This approach is akin to putting a lifeguard at a kiddie pool during a shark attack. It may look like they’re trying to save the day, but everyone really knows it’s just window dressing over a disaster.
The interview devolved further into a baffling array of mish-mash ideas and statements that seemed to confound even her own supporters. Kamala’s verbal gymnastics in the face of criticism hardly inspire confidence in her strategic insights. She can spin the narrative all day long, but at the end of the day, her policies are reminiscent of a candy-colored dream, devoid of substance. Even in her efforts to present herself as an engaged leader, she continues to falter, making one wonder if any coherent thought actually surfaces in such kaleidoscopic word combinations. In the realm of serious politics, the Democrats could use a lot less mushy cupcake talk and a lot more solid real-world solutions to prove they’re ready to steer the country in any meaningful direction.
