In a baffling move that showcases both desperation and creativity (albeit of the misguided variety), supporters of Kamala Harris have been caught red-handed promoting her campaign using a fraudulent endorsement from none other than the Philadelphia Eagles. This audacious attempt to portray Harris in an Eagles uniform, complete with the tagline “Official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles,” is enough to make even the most stalwart Harris backers facepalm.
As if it wasn’t embarrassing enough for Harris, the NFL team was quick to clarify that they have not endorsed her for president, much to the chagrin of her supporters. The Eagles have announced their awareness of the counterfeit ads and confirmed their collaboration with an advertising partner to remove the forgeries. This incident has turned into a comical case of political maneuvering gone wrong, where feigned endorsements seem to be the order of the day—but apparently not for the Eagles.

Intersection Media, the company responsible for the bus stops, made it clear that the incident qualifies as both vandalism and theft. It turns out that the lock on an advertising box is no match for those determined to push a narrative. The sheer level of incompetence displayed by whoever orchestrated this is a masterpiece of misguided enthusiasm.
Speculation around the identity of the culprit has spiraled, with some pointing fingers at local street artist Winston Tseng. Known for his art, which leans heavily in favor of Democrats, Tseng’s handiwork often mocks conservative figures and appropriates brand imagery. However, the fact that a street artist would target the Eagles for a political prank raises numerous questions about Harris’s campaign strategy in a major Democratic stronghold. The Philadelphia Eagles had to outright deny supporting Harris on her home turf, a situation that no campaign manager wants to find themselves in.
Yikes! It’s a point of pride for any political figure to have the endorsement of local icons, but when that support has to be manufactured, it’s a glaring signal that things are not going as planned. The whole incident is a perfect illustration of how a dubious political stunt can backfire spectacularly.
