A story that is almost comedic in its irony, this incident reveals how far Harris was willing to go to stifle the voices of millions of Americans.
Indeed, even prominent CNN reporters like Jake Tapper were left aghast at Harris’s blatant attempt to manipulate social media for political gains. Tapper raised the question that echoes across every conservative heart—how could such a demand not be viewed as a violation of free speech? Fast forward to the present day, and Kamala Harris’s camp is being strengthened by allies steeped in the art of censorship. A look into the Biden White House reveals how the administration has been orchestrating a concerted effort to pressure social media companies to silence information that doesn’t align with their carefully curated storyline. Enter Rob Flaherty, the former Director of Digital Strategy known for his heavy-handed methods. He now holds the position of Harris’s Deputy Campaign Manager and is likely to bring his brand of censorship to the campaign trail.
But it doesn’t stop there. The delightful cherry on this censorship cake is none other than Tim Walz, the Governor of Minnesota and a fellow traveler on this slippery slope of suppressing freedom. He has openly declared that there is no inviolable right to free speech when the government decides such speech constitutes misinformation. This overreach should send shivers down the spine of any patriotic American who still believes in the First Amendment.
While Harris and her allies stake their claims as champions of “democracy” and “truth,” one has to wonder what they truly mean by those words. With a cast of characters that includes fervent advocates for censorship who see the right to speak freely as a mere nuisance, this squad is redefining democracy into something unrecognizable. If the left is successful, it may very well pave the way for a future where the idea of free speech is but a faded memory, replaced by an echo chamber stitched together by deceitful regulations and censorship masquerading as concern for the public good.
