The Biden administration is facing criticism over the ongoing border crisis, as illegal border crossings continue to rise. In a press conference, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the situation and her response left much to be desired. Rather than acknowledging the severity of the crisis, Jean-Pierre painted a rosy picture, calling it “human, safe, and orderly.” Anyone with common sense knows that this is far from the truth.

The reality is that drug cartels are trafficking people across the border, women and children are being subjected to rape and abuse, and lives are being lost during the dangerous journey. And what does the Biden administration do? They turn a blind eye and refuse to take responsibility. It’s appalling and immoral.

But it gets worse. When state-level authorities try to step up and do their job, they are attacked by the administration. This is not a political stunt, as some would claim. CBP agents are being forced to cut through razor wire to allow illegal immigrants to flood into the country. The crisis at the border is a direct result of the Biden administration’s incompetence and refusal to secure the border. They are creating incentives for more people to make the treacherous journey, with no regard for their well-being.
When asked to simply acknowledge the crisis, Jean-Pierre completely lost it. Instead of a straightforward answer, she chose to shout down the reporter. It’s like dealing with a child who refuses to admit they’re wrong. It’s a disgraceful display of disrespect for the press and for the American people.
This cannot continue. The resources are stretched thin, and even the Governor of New York is telling illegal immigrants not to come. America is a generous nation, but we cannot magically create food, housing, and jobs for everyone who crosses the border illegally. If something doesn’t change, more people will suffer. It’s time for the Biden administration to wake up and take action.
